ABOUT THIS INSPECTION

What Care Inspectorate Wales found

Care Inspectorate Wales is the independent regulator for social care in Wales. All registered domiciliary care providers are required by law to be inspected under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.

This was our first inspection as a registered service. Inspectors visited on 16 and 17 April 2025, speaking with the people we support, their families and our team, and reviewing records, policies and care plans.

No areas for Priority Action were identified.

Well-being

The people we support are treated with dignity and respect, encouraged to make their own decisions, and supported to maintain relationships with family and friends. Safeguarding procedures are robust and well understood by all staff.

Care and Support

Personal plans are thorough, regularly reviewed, and developed with the individual and their family. People take part in a wide range of meaningful activities, from bowling and swimming to visiting family in other areas.

Leadership and Management

CIW found strong governance, financial oversight and a stable, consistent team. Staff feel valued and supported, scheduling allows realistic travel time between visits, and all staff have contracts in place.
